Concept

It all began with my desire to break free from normalcy. In the past, people constantly told me what to do and how to behave like a 'normal' person. But there's no one right way to act—you're meant to be who you truly are.

This series of photos was taken using inverted film. When you reverse all of the colors, the images appear in their true, normal form. This is also why the word "normal" appears as a mirror image in the photos.
